The 4-Part Prompt Template (Level 2)

Copy, paste, and fill in the blanks. This one template puts you ahead of roughly 9 out of 10 business owners:

1. ROLE: "You are a top 1% expert in [your field]."
2. CONTEXT: "Here is my business, my customers, my situation: [tell it everything]"
3. CONSTRAINTS: "Here is what is off the table: [budget, time, no-go areas]"
4. THE MAGIC LINE: "Ask me clarifying questions one at a time until you are 95% confident in your answer."

The 3 Sparring Prompts (Level 3)

Don’t use AI to get answers — use it to find the questions you should have been asking:

"Be my toughest critic. Rip this apart."
"What assumptions am I making that aren't backed by data?"
"Be a skeptical investor reviewing my pricing."

Memory + Projects (Level 4)

Stop re-introducing yourself to your assistant every morning. Create a Claude Project called “[My Business] HQ”, write 5–8 lines of instructions (what I sell, who I serve, my voice, my constraints), and upload one document — your price list, service menu, or About page. Every future chat starts already knowing your business.

Claude Skills (Level 5)

Teach Claude HOW you do things — once. Your proposal format, your pricing rules, your brand-voice checklist become reusable Skills it follows the same way every time. Projects = what it knows. Skills = how it works.

Scheduled Tasks (Level 6)

Turn Claude from a tool you use into staff you manage. Set up one automation this week: the Monday Marketing Hour is the highest-value starting point for a solo owner. Find it: claude.ai → left sidebar → Scheduled Tasks. (Requires Claude Pro.)

Four automation recipes to start with:

  • Monday Marketing Hour — start the week with a ready-made content plan and drafts in your voice.
  • Inquiry Follow-Up Sweep — catch every unanswered lead and draft warm replies so none slip through.
  • Review & Testimonial Harvester — gather fresh reviews and turn them into ready-to-post testimonials.
  • Mini Performance Report — a short weekly snapshot of what’s working so you can decide what to do next.

MCPs & Connectors (Level 7)

Connectors — built on MCP, the “USB port of AI” — plug Claude into your real tools: your email, your calendar, your files, your browser. This is where a chat becomes a system that works for you.

  • “Claude, find every inquiry email I haven’t answered in 5 days and draft warm replies in my voice.”

Download Obsidian (free and private — your notes stay on your computer) and create these five folders:
